How Do I Place An Order?

At IASpromotes, we try to make it as easy as possible to facilitate your order. You may initiate an order online, via email, or by Phone (800-780-1962).

*Please note, that all orders require signed approval of our order acknowledgment to be considered complete.

Can you Describe the Typical Ordering Process?

Absolutely. Here are the steps we take to insure complete accuracy and accountability for each order you place.

  • 1. Sign and complete the Order form we send via our online signatory interface (just use your finger or mouse to approve).
  • 2. If necessary, Your artwork will go to our artist to redraw and make vector. If not, we will skip to step #3.
  • 3. Our art department will produce and email an e-proof for your approval.
  • 4. Once the proof approval is received, the order will go into production and be assigned a ship date.
  • 5. Once an order has shipped, you will receive an email notice.
  • 6. Once billing is complete you will receive an Invoice or Receipt with the shipment tracking numbers.
Do You Have a Minimum Order Amount?

Yes. We require a $300 order minimum per manufacturing facility or the minimum for an individual product, whichever is GREATER. For example, if a product says that it has a 1000 piece minimum and the price is $2.50 per item, then $2500 is the minimum for that item. Conversely, if it showed a minimum of 100 quantity but price was only $0.89 each, you would need to increase your order to meet the $300 minimum. If you have any questions, please contact a service specialist for further explanation. In rare circumstances, the minimum order amount can be lowered. Please discuss this with one of our specialists.

Will I get to see Artwork Before You Print?

On most orders, the answer is yes. Exceptions include the following: Rush orders where time does not allow, exact re-orders and some other unique situations. Our representatives will be happy to discuss this with you given your specific situation.

1. We offer on our site for each product a free user interface - "free virtual sample" - which is a tool you can use to upload and manipulate and preview an item - it is by no means exact but will give you an idea.

2. We offer a no charge email proof with an 'active' order, but an order form must be completed and signed before it goes to our art department for the proofing. The order, needless to say does not go into actual production until a proof is approved. The order is not billed when you sign an order confirmation and you would not be liable for any charges if you did not proceed for some reason as long as no art cleanup/conversion has been made.

Do you Ship and Charge for Overruns and/or Underruns?

Yes, you may receive an overage or a shortage on your order. Due to high volume print processes and quality control reasons, many products have a ± 10%. Overrun / underrun allowance. For example if you order 100 mugs you could receive 110 or 90. We cant guarantee the exact % but do try to minimize these occurrences and on many items, there are no overruns or under-runs at all. That applies primarily to higher end items and embroidered apparel. Should you have any questions, please contact an IASpromotes specialist right away.

Do You Sell Blank Merchandise?

Yes. Please inquire as prices and limitations vary for each product.

What Are Your Payment Options?

First time orders generally require some form of prepayment:

For existing clients, with approved credit, we can extend terms of Net 30.

What Are My Shipping Options?

Within the United States, we use UPS or FedEx. Should you wish to your own UPS or FedEx account, we are happy to accommodate this request.

Internationally, we can also use DHL or arrange to ship to a freight forwarder of your choosing. We do prefer to use a clients freight account for direct billing on orders outside the United States.

What is Your Sample Policy?

All we need to process your sample request is a credit card to cover product and freight. Should you prefer to expedite or be billed direct for freight using your own shipper account, you can furnish a FedEx or UPS Account number. Per our sample policy, we rebate the cost of samples against an order.

If the sample itself is less than $2.00 and you provide your shipper account, we will not bill you for the sample. For further sample information, please read our sample policy or contact a representative by phone 1-800-780-1962 or email.

What is your Cancellation/Change Policy?

Independent Ad Specialties (IASpromotes.com) processes orders as soon as they are signed and approved. Depending on the timing of when you request the cancellation, the order or item may have already been manufactured, or is being manufactured and shipped and thus too late to cancel or change. You will be charged the original amount quoted for all orders cancelled at this stage.

If however, the order has not been printed or manufactured, then any cancellation or change would be subject to incur any and all art charges, screen, plate, mold or set-up charges and any other incidental charges that may have been involved in processing your custom promotional order along with a $35 order cancellation charge.

Please contact us immediately should you have such a situation so we can discuss the individual nature of your order(s) as we will do our best to accommodate you.

What is Your Return Policy?

At IASpromotes.com we stand behind the products we sell. Should there be any defects, misprints, errors or damaged goods, we will replace or credit the merchandise as long as claim is made within 15 days of merchandise receipt. We will be required to inspect the merchandise for review to verify and inspect goods.

In the case of a customer error, such as ordering the wrong imprint color or size, that is not subject to return or replacement.

Blank merchandise returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee in addition to the necessary freight costs to return the product. Unauthorized returns are not accepted.

What is Proposition 65 and does it affect me?

In the State of California, there exists what is referred to as "Proposition 65". Proposition 65 is the California Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986. Any company that operates in California, sells products in California, or manufactures products that may be sold in or brought into California are subject to Proposition 65.

Proposition 65 requires warning labels to be placed on any product that may contain any of 600-plus elements that the California Air Resources Board considers a carcinogen or a reproductive toxicant. This list of elements includes lead (contained within the inks used to customize most products), brass, PVC and a multitude of other everyday elements.

The California Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 198 does not provide any exclusions or exemption according to the levels/quantity of the identified elements found in a product. So, even if an ink compound or product consists only of .00000001% of lead, Proposition 65 requires that we warn consumers of the potential hazard associated with these products by placing this label on them. Please note this label does not necessarily indicate our products will cause you to contract cancer or reproductive harm if used as designed, but in compliance with California Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, is required to warn consumers about the possibility of the dangers associated with these selected elements when/if use by one of our products. These labels are just one of the many steps we have taken to warn consumers and abide by this California state law.

Do You Match Prices?

IASpromotes.com will match or beat any competitor's price on the exact item from the exact manufacturer. Pricing must be verifiable in writing with the competitor and the buyer. If we are unable to match the price due to market conditions we will offer a 10% discount on your next order with us.

Can My Order Be Rushed?

We offer thousands of products that can be produced, printed and shipping within 3 business or less, sometimes even 1-day. Please look for the production time indicator for each product. In the case, where you have a specific event date and are unsure whether we can meet it, please contact customer service at 1-800-780-1962 to discuss your individual requirements. Most often, we can find a solution for your rush needs.

Do you Carry Products Not Shown on Site?

Yes. We have a world-wide network of factories and have access to more than 800,000 products, not just the 100,000 + we show online. Further, we have the factory direct ability to manufacture custom items made specifically for you. Please contact our knowledgeable, fast and courteous representatives right away to discuss your project.

Do you sell outside the United States?

Since each order is unique and given individual attention, payment and shipping guidelines may vary depending on location of buyer. Please inquire within for further details. With few exceptions, overseas orders require wire transfer for payment.

Do You Only Sell to Businesses?

IASpromotes sells to any company, organization, government, group, school or individual who meets our minimum order and order policy requirements. We do reserve the right to refuse an order at our discretion at any time.

Do you charge a screen/set-up fee on exact re-order?

Many of our items have no screen charges if you place an exact re-order within a 12 month period from previous order. Others, do require a set-up charge which is a fraction of the original order. Since each item and print process is unique, we will review any and all charges with you before proceeding.
